The Honoring Elders Project is a community based project started by Kara Counard, connecting children from local schools, with elders from nursing homes, throughout Wisconsin. We learn about storytelling through photography and local history, right from the source! It teaches and empowers the young ones, while drawing attention to the lives of these beautiful folks!

This adventure came in progression, after two photography exhibits.. the 101 Women Project and the Women Over 90 Project.
